I often have my 13 year old sister over to my place and Its hard coming up with something different to do on a Saturday night besides seeing a movie.  Sometimes we'll go to Gameworks, but thats about all I can think of.  I'm right on lower Queen Anne near the Key Arena, and I dont drive.  Have any ideas?

Laser Fantasy at the Pacific Science Center gets a BIG thumbs up from my 13 yr old son and 15 yr old daughter. She's into classic rock, he doesn't care, just likes the lasers - they've got Green Day playing now I think, and Motown, and always Pink Floyd - the schedule rotates. http://www.yelp.com/bi...

If you're going to see a movie anyway, try the IMAX for something different - same place. You could hop a bus and go bowling at the Sunset Bowl in Ballard. Also gets a thumbs up from my kids. Hip place on weekends. And this one is kind of weird (as are my kids & I) but we like to grab fish and chips on the waterfront and take a round trip ferry ride to Bremerton or Bainbridge eating our picnic dinner. They like approaching the lights of the city at night and just hanging out.

Hope that helps. I'll ask them for more tips.

Be the cool older sister.  Take em to an underage concert.  There are plenty of these listed in their own section in the stranger.
